About the role

Working within a high-production industrial environment, the Facilities Maintenance Technician Supervisor will oversee a team of maintenance workers, plan and coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards. This role requires supervision and management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and within a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of maintenance workers
  • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance activities
  • Train maintenance staff in safety procedures and maintenance techniques
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to health and safety
  • Perform maintenance and repair of the facility, production equipment, and grounds
  • Complete maintenance request or PM documentation for all work performed
  • Communicate status of incomplete work to the Maintenance Manager or the next shift technician
  • Communicate and work with subcontractors and 3rd party vendors
  • Participate in ongoing job training, including cross-functional training programs
  • Adhere to all environmental, safety, and health policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in applying general maintenance practices, mechanical aptitude, and ability to correctly and safely use manual and power tools
  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs
  • Exceptional attention-to-detail and capable of reading and following technical/construction instructions, operation manuals, equipment install specifications, schematics, and diagrams
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, P& IDs, and technical as-built
  • General computer skills and ability to complete electronic work orders, enter data into systems, and send emails
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Solution-focused mindset; recommend and implement improvements to processes increasing efficiency and see projects through to completion
  • Mathematical ability sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate averages
  • Ability to work 9-10 hour days, standing for most of the shift
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to safely drive a box truck, van, or company car
  • Overtime, weekend, and on-call availability is required

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred Experience: 2 years of facility maintenance equipment preferred. Previous work experience using trade skills such as carpentry, electrical, mechanical, electronics, HVAC, plumbing, and/or welding preferred. Journeyman status is preferred.

Pay

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Schedule

Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position. Overtime, weekend, and on-call availability is required.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to:

  • Being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
  • Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
  • Understanding and following authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
  • Understanding the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
  • Managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services
