Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
About the Role
International Motors is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance and repair work for the 1st shift. This role ensures safety standards are met, maximizes uptime on facility equipment, initiates and audits preventive maintenance programs, and manages team training for long-term sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance of the facility to meet company standards and ensure minimum equipment downtime.
- Manage technicians responsible for repairing and maintaining buildings and grounds.
- Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
- Develop and manage training programs for proper operation, preventive maintenance, and repair.
- Maintain inventory and spare parts.
- Schedule facilities activities across 1st shift, 2nd shift, and weekend shifts to achieve PM completions.
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of maintenance experience OR Master’s degree and at least 1 year of maintenance experience OR at least 5 years of maintenance experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an unrestricted basis (U.S. Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee). Work sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not anticipated for this position.
Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Microsoft Project or other project scheduling software.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant building and construction codes/standards.
- Technical writing and communication skills.
- Budget and schedule management experience.
- AutoCAD or other drafting program experience.
- Experience with EAM, BAS, and other building software systems.
