Facilities Maintenance Mechanic

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, average 40 hours per week, every other weekend off. $2.00/hour shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment and building systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and utility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using drawings, schematics, test equipment, and diagnostic tools.
• Install, repair, and maintain piping, valves, regulators, pumps, motors, and related equipment.
• Support facility projects, equipment upgrades, and contractor activities.
• Respond to facility-related breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, hoists, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of facilities, industrial maintenance, building maintenance, or related technical experience.
• Experience maintaining HVAC, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of PLCs, building automation systems, and utility equipment.
• Experience with SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
