Position Summary
Bender CCP seeks a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to support maintenance, repair, and operation of facility equipment, building systems, and production support infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Maintain and repair motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, fans, gearboxes, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors, control panels, relays, switches, VFDs, lighting, and building electrical systems.
- Support HVAC equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform plumbing repairs, including valves, piping, fixtures, and utility systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair facility infrastructure, equipment, and machinery.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Complete work orders and document maintenance activities in CMMS systems.
- Support facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and capital upgrades.
- Clock in with contractors, vendors, and service providers as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, arc flash, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and equipment failures as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical, vocational, or trade school training in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, food processing, warehouse, distribution, or commercial facilities.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and facility utility systems preferred.
- Experience using CMMS software and maintenance management systems preferred.
- Preferred certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, HVAC Certification, Electrical Safety / NFPA 70E, Forklift Certification, Confined Space Training, Industrial Maintenance Certification.

Work Environment
