Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd Shift (Sun. Night - Thurs. Night: 10:00PM - 6:05AM)

About the role

As a Mechanic I, you will monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility infrastructure and equipment appropriate to the business operations of the site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all internal equipment related to the facility operations of the site.
• Aid in scheduling and upkeep of vendors.
• Organize and track inventory of parts and equipment.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects.
• Operate and monitor systems such as HVAC, conveyor systems, process equipment, and building management.
• Manage on-site contractors, including safety training, daily permits, and daily prevention plans.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Requirements

• Two years’ experience in an industrial maintenance role or at least a 2-year technical degree.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge required.
• Conveyor systems, PLCs, motor controls, pneumatic devices, and hydraulic equipment preferred.
• CMMS for work order completion.
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights or weekends, and provide on-call support for 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders.
• Must be able to work from heights.
• Must pass hearing and vision requirements.
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 4 hours at a time.
