General Responsibility

This position works closely with production, engineering and management to identify priorities and effectively coordinates team of technicians to perform maintenance activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Directs maintenance work, equipment, and installation and machine repairs to meet costs, schedules and quality standards.
  • Responsible for assigning work, overseeing, developing, and training a team of 2 technicians.
  • Responsible for issuing corrective action to employees and ensure employees adhere to safety standards and exhibit safe work behaviors.
  • Assure communication of policies, production performance, costs and standards.
  • Develop and recommend plans for facilities improvement.
  • Responsible for executing maintenance activities on shift including PM’s, PMD’s, TPM’s, support of Kaizen events, equipment repairs, department initiatives and work orders.
  • Responsible for keeping running tabs of machine histories, current conditions to be reported to morning production meeting. Duties will include detailed shift pass down from other shifts.
  • Accountable for teams 6S activities and will conduct and report audit.
  • Responsible for all Work Order entries into CMMS (Micromain Global) and ensures that all crew is entering all work orders correctly and thoroughly.
  • Responsible for Safety programs – LOTO & Electrical safety
  • Hazardous production/waste trained. Support pickup/disposal.
  • Ensures effective communication among shifts and between Maintenance and Operations department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during working hours.

Education/Experience

  • 2 year technical degree or equivalent.
