Responsibilities
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Carpentry, drywall, painting, and finishing work
- Basic plumbing and electrical repairs
- Landscaping, mowing, mulching, pruning, and lawn maintenance
- Snow removal and sidewalk maintenance
- Facility cleaning and janitorial support as needed
- Moving furniture and assisting with facility projects
- Maintaining safe and secure worksites
- Completing work orders and project documentation
- Supporting other maintenance-related duties as assigned
Requirements
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys finding solutions to maintenance challenges. You're dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist wherever needed to keep facilities and grounds looking their best.
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of experience or technical training in construction, building trades, facility maintenance, or a related field
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to safely work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 30 pounds unassisted and 60 pounds with assistance
- Ability to successfully complete required background and driving record clearances
Preferred Skills
- General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and facility maintenance
- Experience operating hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service and communication skills

Pay
$16.63 per hour
