Sanmina Corporation (Nasdaq: SANM) is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving the fastest-growing segments of the global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market. The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant located in California’s Silicon Valley, producing low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. This role supports day-to-day building and facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Handle building and repair tasks, including cleaning, painting, and stocking employee areas.
- Conduct and maintain building inventories.
- Assemble and move furniture.
- Perform inside and outside clean-up, maintenance, and operate site equipment and hand/power tools as needed.
- Assist Front Desk Admin with tasks and update work request statuses.
- Transport supplies and manage off-site storage.
- Open and close daily work orders from the work order system.
- Communicate and coordinate with end users on work order tasks.
- Assist with equipment and instrument moves, as well as office relocations.
- Perform general building maintenance, including light bulb replacement, wall patching/painting, lab bench modifications, sign hanging, and shelving/rack building.
- Perform corrective actions per EHS observations.
- Conduct monthly emergency shower testing, fire extinguisher monitoring, and AED monitoring.
- Escort and oversee onsite facility-related vendors, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Set up and take down company events, including moving chairs and tables.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, as a handyman, or in a skilled trade (e.g., roofing, landscaping, plumbing) is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Physical ability to bend, stand for long periods, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Pay
Annual salary range: $49,920 - $54,080 ($24.00 - $26.00 per hour). Actual base pay within this range will be determined based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills.
