About the role

Novares is looking for a General Services Assistant to perform services ensuring cleanliness, organization, and sustainability of work areas within the General Service department.

Responsibilities

• Perform and ensure the 5S manufacturing method is carried out:
  • Sort: Go through materials, tools, and equipment in the work area to determine what needs to be present and what can be removed.
  • Set in Order: Organize remaining items in the proper location for efficiency.
  • Shine: Clean the work area by sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping down surfaces, and putting tools and materials away.
  • Standardize: Assign regular tasks, create schedules, and post instructions (e.g., checklists) to establish routines.
  • Sustain: Commit to 5S within your teams, ensure new employees understand the 5S principles, and maintain coworker accountability.

Requirements

• Entry-level experience.
• At-will contract.
