This role reports to the Mount Prospect, IL site within the Clinical Trials Division (CTD). CTD partners with pharmaceutical and biotech customers around the world to ensure the right patients get the right therapies in the right doses at the right time. Our services include project management, packaging, distribution, transportation management, specialty logistics, ancillary supply management, clinical supply optimization, and bio-repository storage.
About the role
Responsible for cleaning and organizing all areas of the facility in accordance with local SOPs. Maintains an adequate supply of cleaning materials to perform duties and reports all building deficiencies to the supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Cleans all areas of the facility and grounds as indicated
- Documents within GMP systems that all required tasks have been completed
- Ensures all trash and cardboard boxes are collected and disposed of daily
- Oversees stock on all janitorial supplies, informing purchasing department when needing to replenish
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of utility room
- Completes additional housekeeping duties as needed to support special facilities projects
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant formal academic or vocational certificate highly preferred
- Previous experience (comparable to 0 to 1 year) that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning methods and procedures
- Ability to read and follow directions
- Ability to complete GMP documentation
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to learn, understand, and follow OSHA regulations
Environmental Conditions
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
- Required use of PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, cold chain gear, etc.)
- Standing for full shift
- Ability to work in walk-in refrigerators and freezers
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds

Pay
The hourly pay range for this position based in Illinois is $14.41–$21.61. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
