About the Role

Performs maintenance and repairs on boilers, chillers, circulation fans, and HVAC equipment at the Sunbury site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and circulation fans
• Perform troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving
• Read and interpret blueprints at an intermediate level
• Utilize CMMS systems for maintenance tracking
• Work on plumbing, gas line installations/repairs, and building/project management
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Good math skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Beginner to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• EPA Certified Refrigeration Handler (Universal)
• NFPA70 Arc Flash Training
• Liebert Environmental cooling systems training
• Low Pressure Chiller Training
• Ohio Fire Detection License
• Building Automation Controls training
• Ability to stand/walk 8-12 hours per day
• Willingness to work 5-7 days per week
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently
• Ability to work in extreme heat or cold, dusty, noisy, and manufacturing environments
• Ability to work planned and unplanned overtime

Qualifications

Work experience in commercial HVAC installations/maintenance, plumbing, gas line installations/repairs, and building/project management. The following levels outline required education and experience:

• Facilities Technician I (Skilled and Competent Level): No degree in technical discipline & 2+ years related work experience
• Facilities Technician II (Excellent Level): 2-year degree in technical discipline & 2+ years related work experience OR 6+ years related work experience
• Facilities Technician III (Outstanding/Role Model Level): 2-year degree in technical discipline & 4+ years related work experience OR 4-year degree in technical discipline & 2+ years work experience OR 10+ years related work experience
• Senior Facilities Technician I (Skilled and Competent Level): 2-year degree in technical discipline & 6+ years related work experience OR 4-year degree in technical discipline & 4+ years work experience OR 14+ years related work experience
• Senior Facilities Technician II (Excellent Level): 2-year degree in technical discipline & 8+ years related work experience OR 4-year degree in technical discipline & 6+ years work experience OR 16+ years related work experience
