Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Technician

About the role

Ziker Cleaners is seeking an experienced Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. This position involves diagnosing and repairing various industrial equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting multiple retail stores and production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair industrial washers, dryers, presses, boilers, conveyors, and production equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility issues
• Complete building repairs including lighting, doors, drywall, painting, locks, and general maintenance
• Support multiple Ziker Cleaners retail stores, production facilities, and office locations
• Coordinate with outside contractors and service vendors when necessary
• Respond quickly to maintenance emergencies and urgent repair requests
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and preventative maintenance schedules
• Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe work environment
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
• A strong communicator with a positive attitude
• Committed to quality workmanship
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Holds a valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Experience in one or more of the following: industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, facilities maintenance, mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, HVAC, welding, boiler systems, preventative maintenance programs, multi-site building or equipment maintenance

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting up to 70 pounds
• Frequent bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, and moving throughout facilities
• Work safely around machinery and industrial equipment
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
