About the Role

As a Facilities Manager supporting electrical systems, you will oversee the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of mission-critical electrical infrastructure in data centers. You will lead the operation and maintenance of systems such as switchgear, UPS, batteries, generators, and power distribution units, focusing on plant operations and field execution rather than design.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily electrical infrastructure operation, maintenance, and service activities.
  • Act as the technical lead for mechanical systems and incident escalation.
  • Ensure electrical plant readiness through preventive maintenance, testing, repairs, and outage coordination.
  • Manage technicians, contractors, and vendors, emphasizing safety, quality, and SLA adherence.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, fault restoration, and incident management.
  • Implement safe switching practices, monitor KPIs, and improve operational metrics.
  • Collaborate on system upgrades, lifecycle replacements, and capacity expansion.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are documented and implemented.
  • Maintain accurate records and champion electrical safety protocols, including NFPA 70E and LOTO.
  • Develop technicians and frontline leaders in safety, technical skills, and execution quality.

Requirements

  • Experience leading electrical maintenance or plant operations in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including switchgear, UPS, batteries, and generators.
  • Familiarity with maintenance programs, outages, incident response, and operational tools like CMMS, SCADA, and BMS.
  • Leadership in safety practices and operational judgment, with excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and disciplined follow-through on corrective actions.
