Facilities Engineer - (Grand Prairie, TX)

About the role

We are seeking a Facilities Engineer to join a leading global aerospace company. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and manage facilities construction and office fit-out projects by developing scopes of work, collaborating with A&E firms, evaluating construction feasibility and costs, preparing bid packages, and overseeing project execution to ensure compliance with engineering standards, schedules, and customer requirements. This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (5-day 8-hour shifts per week), and this is an on-site role in Grand Prairie, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to facilities management on a variety of tasks.
• Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
• Prepares bid sheets for construction and facilities projects.
• Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience as Facilities Engineer.
• Experience with Fitting Out Office Buildings.
• Experience with Construction of Industrial Buildings.
• Writing Scopes of Work, dealing with A&E Firms and Project Management.
• Coachable.
• Bachelor's Degree
