About the role
The Facilities Engineer will repair and maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all facilities run safely and efficiently. They will troubleshoot systems and contribute to the upkeep of a clean, functional environment for members and staff.Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep facilities running smoothly
- Ensure all facilities comply with safety regulations
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, functional environment for members and staff
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with building systems
- Collaborate with team members to improve facility operations
Requirements
- Key skills: Plumbing, Maintenance, HVAC, electrical, repair, facility operations, safety, troubleshooting, teamwork
- Experience with boilers, chillers, pool maintenance, fitness equipment repair, treadmill repair, lighting repair, drain cleaning, drywall repair, fire safety, work orders, and building systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or related field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
