About the role

We are seeking a Facility Coordinator to support all current and potential locations in the assigned region. This role reports to the Director of Facilities Management and requires frequent travel to existing and potential sites across Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Southern Pennsylvania. The position is full-time (40 hours per week) with flexible hours depending on project needs. Occasional weekend work may be required.

Must have reliable transportation to travel between multiple offices within the region. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate building spaces and develop space plans.
  • Oversee concept development while collaborating with key providers and the management team.
  • Solicit and evaluate contractor proposals.
  • Coordinate contract documents and financing.
  • Oversee the quality and timeliness of construction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Experience working with general contractors and sub-contractors (required).
  • Experience troubleshooting basic plumbing, HVAC, and handyman work (required).
  • Experience working within a private medical office setting (highly preferred).
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
