About the role
The Facilities Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating and managing the various contractors and staff that support the day-to-day operations of the administrative office buildings. This includes overseeing the cleanliness, security, and safety of the site, managing service contracts, and assisting with construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Takes the lead in the day-to-day operations of the 2600 Wilshire Building common areas.
- Coordinates and manages various contractors and staff supporting the administrative office buildings.
- Maintains and improves the safety and efficiency of facilities and operations.
- Assists with commercial tenant relations and staff relocation/move management.
- Serves as a point of contact for mail and delivery services.
- Supervises the maintenance and repair of printing and bindery equipment.
- Maintains compliance with postal legislation and ensures efficient program operations.
Requirements
Experience and education requirements include:
- An associate's degree and at least one year of experience in administrative facility operations.
- Two years of additional experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
- A minimum of four years of experience operating and maintaining printing, duplicating, and allied equipment, with two years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in mail collection, processing, and delivery is desirable.
