What this job involves - Independently manage defined operational areas, including work order systems, event coordination, and specific site amenities. This role requires a proven track record of excelling in customer service and moving toward more strategic responsibilities. You will work with moderate supervision, primarily focusing on complex issues while ensuring full compliance with client contract requirements and proactively seeking opportunities to deliver exceptional service. What is your day to day? Independently manage work order flow to ensure operational excellenceProactively schedule and manage repairs, maintenance, and minor works from start to finishLead the coordination of complex events and meeting facilitiesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and recommend operational changes to the Facility ManagerConduct initial site inspections and assessments to maintain facility standardsProvide independent direction and coordination to a diverse range of vendors ensuring accountability of contracted deliverables. Assist in the procurement and onboarding of new vendors and servicesFully own compliance with client contract requirements and act on client feedbackProblem-solve operational issues independently using a foundational understanding of technical property aspects (ie, MEP, fire protection and life safety systems)Apply knowledge of local EHS requirements and contract management principles to daily operations Desired Experience And Technical Skills Required Minimum 2+ years of progressive experience as a Facility Coordinator or in a related facilities management roleStrong proficiency in IT tools and platformsExcellent communication, organization, and independent problem-solving skillsProven ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing individual areas of responsibility Preferred Good understanding of basic technical aspects of property (e.g., basic M&E, fire protection)Experience with vendor procurement and onboarding processesKnowledge of local EHS requirements and contract management principles
