Facilities Command Center Technician

About the role

As an Operations Center Technician, you'll help maintain business continuity across Epic's global campuses by monitoring real-time alerts, managing access and security systems, and overseeing building operations from our Facilities Command Center.

Responsibilities

• Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data
• Cook up to restaurant-quality meals at no cost
• Coordinate emergency responses during disruptions like natural disasters or power outages
• Work closely with internal teams and emergency services to ensure a safe environment
• Help restore normal operations quickly and effectively

Requirements

• Live affordably in Madison, WI, a city known for its rising tech talent
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Open to working 2nd and 3rd shifts, as well as weekends

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high-volume field

• Highly adaptable to a fast-paced, real-time environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
