Facilities Associate - Queens

Responsibilities

• Aid in supervising facility personnel for maintenance, housekeeping, sanitation, and distribution.
• Evaluate and monitor techniques for housekeeping, sanitation, and linen production and distribution operations.
• Maintain day-to-day facility maintenance, housekeeping, sanitation, and distribution.
• Prepare purchase orders and specifications for institutional equipment, furniture, and supplies.
• Evaluate and inspect purchases.
• Prepare manuals, administrative guides, and staff communications to ensure safe and efficient institutional management services.
• Coordinate fire and safety programs.
• Manage the phone system.
• Update and track ADT software and database.
• Oversee the maintenance of the HVAC system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Major in Construction Management preferred.
• Experience in purchasing of supplies and facility maintenance required.
• Conversant in English and some Chinese preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

• Salary: $50,000.00 - 55,000.00 per year.
