This position pays $18.00 per hour with increases at 90 and 360 days if meeting expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean warehouse environment, ensuring warehouse materials are appropriately recycled.
  • Maintain clean grounds at 2441, 3737, and 5050 locations following proper procedures to meet company and safety regulations.
  • Dump trash daily and sweep the entire warehouse, including all workstations.
  • Perform multiple daily recycling of cardboard and packing materials by retrieving, sorting, and transferring to recycling bins and dumpsters.
  • Assist with maintaining warehouse shelving, including assembly and repairs.
  • Assist with relocation tasks, furniture moving, and assembly.
  • Set up and tear down for company functions (e.g., moving tables, setting out chairs).
  • Conduct routine maintenance functions (e.g., changing light bulbs, basic floor repairs) and provide assistance to senior facilities staff.
  • Provide janitorial services for all office and warehouse locations, including cleaning bathrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, and offices.
  • Operate company vehicles or equipment to transport materials and maintain offsite facilities.
  • Complete additional duties and projects as directed by supervisor/manager or senior technicians.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • One year of basic janitorial experience is preferred.
  • Positive attitude and teamwork orientation.
  • Detailed oriented, energetic, and goal focused.
  • Good verbal and written English language skills.
  • Ability to read and understand written work instructions, safety rules, and operating instructions.
  • Ability to understand liquid measurements and use general mathematical skills (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment (e.g., carts, forklift, pallet jack rider, stock chaser).
  • Ability to pass an examination for in-house material handling equipment licenses.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop/bend, and climb (e.g., ladders, lifts) on a regular basis for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in high locations (e.g., roofs, ladders).
  • Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in small, confined, or difficult spaces.
  • Ability to work unexpected shifts/hours due to business requirements.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move objects up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques.
  • Must arrive on time to work scheduled hours and complete assigned tasks.
  • Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License, safe driving record, and be insurable by the company’s liability carrier.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
