FACILITIES ASSISTANT AND DRIVER - TEMP

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day facility maintenance & cleaning
• Aid in general maintenance, to include painting and other light construction duties
• Participate in installation and maintenance of furnishings as directed
• Assist with various building projects as directed
• Support Fire and Safety program as directed
• Arrange for meeting setup and refreshments as needed
• Monitor all work order requests logged through Track-it and ensure that appropriate action is taken within agreed timescales
• Carry out other projects and/or duties that may be assigned from time to time
• May help set up and wrap special events
• Support facilities projects on a regular basis
• Deliver Results – take accountability, ensuring productive, efficient execution against priorities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Flexibility over working hours is essential for this role
• A willingness to change with the company requirements, and a desire to continually improve the services and facilities on offer
• Knowledge in using a computer and reports where interpretation is required
• 3+ years of maintenance, facilities, or handy-work experience
• Multi-task oriented, ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Must be open to Travel 30%
• Must be available on an on-call 24-7 basis to promptly resolve urgent needs of facilities at existing restaurants
• Organization skills, attention to detail
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills; while maintaining professionalism, tact
