TEMP Driver Position

We are looking for 2-3 part-time delivery team members to assist with catering deliveries across the Ann Arbor campus, working up to 29 hours per week.

About the role

Primary responsibilities include collecting food and drinks from the catering kitchen, delivering food to the correct location, and connecting with the client to finalize the delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operate single unit University motor vehicles, such as vans, pick-up trucks, and straight back delivery trucks
• Accurately read and understand catering contracts
• Communicate with catering managers and chefs regarding any questions on catering contracts
• Able to navigate the Ann Arbor campus safely and effectively
• Ability to work independently
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license with minimal points
• High School Diploma
• Able to pass a background check
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship will not be provided)

Pay

Catering Delivery Drivers start at $15.50 an hour; experienced drivers can earn up to $18 an hour.

Schedule

• Weekdays, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM and/or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 8-hour shifts with appropriate breaks
