Facilities and Environmental Services Director

Primary Responsibilities

• In charge of the Facilities Management of Era Living communities.
• Directly manage capital improvements, preventative maintenance, and sub-contractors.
• Supervise and implement approved maintenance and repairs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop long-term facility plans, including capital improvements, life-cycle replacements, and financial forecasts for major projects.
• Lead and supervise the regional maintenance team, providing direction and performance oversight.
• Evaluate maintenance programs, facility needs, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance for all major systems (structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and security).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Plan, direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the work of others.
• Possess technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment used in a health-care setting.
• Knowledge of construction principles and OSHA requirements.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License and reliable transportation; must be 25+ years old.
• Able to perform duties in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control and sanitation procedures, and Era Living policies and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• Able to pass DSHS background check, required.
