Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings of pressure vessels, bills of materials, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Clock jobs accurately in IFS.
• Read a tape measure to within 1/32”.
• Operate as a crane-certified professional.
• Perform X-ray quality welds and maintain an 85% pass rate.
• Complete confined space entry training, including all required documentation and safety instructions.
• Follow detailed written or oral instructions from supervision, management, or team leaders.
• Provide prior work records demonstrating dependability and conscientiousness.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and neat work area, including upkeep of all TPM sheets.
• Work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with employees, supervision, and management.
• Perform all other assigned duties.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Equipment Knowledge

• Certified MIG welder.
• Perform general maintenance on MIG welding machines.
• Safely use pneumatic grinders and impacts.
• Use and read a level with accuracy.
• Operate a com-a-long.
• Safely operate overhead cranes.
• Safely operate power turn rolls.
• Complete and accurately fill out all required paperwork, such as travelers, on a daily basis.

Qualifications

Good oral communication skills, 1 year of experience in a like environment, or a minimum of 1 year of post-high school education in a related field.
