Purpose of the Job

The position will be responsible for ensuring that all general labor tasks are completed according to work order specifications and on-time per the manufacturing shop schedule.

Responsibilities & Duties

Quality Standards

• Follow all quality standards per the drawing and/or supervisor instructions
• Complete any required paperwork free from errors and in a timely manner
• Accurately record time on timesheet per project
• Quality of the checks during the process
• Accuracy of recordkeeping on the project

Safety Standards

• Follow all safety procedures when operating machinery
• Keep work area clean & organized so not to present a safety hazard
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) per RELCO & OSHA standards
• Quality of safety procedures followed during the fabrication process
• Safety of work area and CNC machines

Other Duties

• Assist when needed to train new coworkers as directed from area supervisor
• Work with other team members to maximize productivity & efficiency
• All other duties as assigned

Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. Personal protective equipment is required. This position is required to wear a respirator during certain processes and will be standing stationary for extended periods of time.

Knowledge & Experience

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience working with equipment/hand tools etc. preferred
