Responsibilities
- Assembles frame components, such as tops, bottoms, sides, panels, and molding in jigs or fixtures.
- Assembles hardware, such as locks, hinges, catches, and swivels on frame and fastens hardware to frame, using various tools.
- Lay out reference points for drilling holes in frame members, using template, rule, and square.
- Load and unload off rolling material carts and match drawings from the purchase order on to staging tables.
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading, and securing product onto pallets.
- Operates various machinery including brooms, measuring tape, tape guns, knives/blades, and other machines as required.
- Analyze order sheets based on client orders and pull appropriate product for each order.
- Quality control, verify material is not damaged/scratched and all pieces are in order according to the drawing/purchase order.
- Organize and stage multiple projects.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Competencies
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. stand/walk continuously and perform physical tasks.
- Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification strongly preferred.
- Availability to work overtime hours, weekends and holidays preferred.
- Mental: Ability to add/subtract two digit numbers and multiply/divide 10’s and 100’s.
- Must be able to stand long periods of time.

Schedule
Full-time position, 5 days per week, On-site in Stamford, CT.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
