Fabricator - ACM - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements.
• Fabricate ACM (a lightweight, three-layer aluminum composite material made by bonding two pre-finished aluminum sheets to a polyethylene core).
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including drills, saws, and pop-rivet guns.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shop.
• Lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.

Knowledge of industrial adhesive use is a plus.

Requirements

• Prior fabrication experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

Physical Demands

• Stand for long periods of time.
• Perform repetitive motions.
• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers.
• Other physical demands as required for safety in the role.
