Fabrication Tech / Laser Operator

About the role

This position is located in Brandon, South Dakota. The pay range is $22 - $30 per hour depending on experience. The shift is 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm, with some Friday hours required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to and operate machines
• Clean parts, touch up parts, and may require re-work of parts
• Read and interpret written instruction
• Complete appropriate paperwork, log sheets, forms, charts and quality assessments
• Communicate with and assist other co-workers in the area
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by lead
• Follow all safety precautions and use protective equipment as required
• Measure product to production specifications
• Maintain and follow good housekeeping standards to meet company objectives
• Perform routine quality checks, both written and oral
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary
• Organization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work space
• Work Experience: 3 years of CNC or laser related field experience

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

Physical Demands

• Physical demands: Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, balance, reach, handle, and climb all day
• Physical environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environment

Pay

$22 - $30 per hour depending on experience
