Fabrication Operator I

About the role

The Fabrication Operator I position at 3M Indianapolis, Indiana is a full-time role with 2nd and 3rd shift options. Starting rate is $21.37 per hour plus shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts only. New hires receive 3 weeks of paid vacation, health, vision, and dental coverage starting on day one, and an employee stock discount. Additionally, there is a 401K match of 5%. Responsibilities

• Maintain standards for all materials and products.
• Maintain all products for proper testing and receiving.
• Maintain communication with production coworkers and supervisors.
• Maintain quality & safety standards.

Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Minimum three (3) months of previous experience of operating production machinery.
• Working 8–10-hour shifts, overtime, extended hours, weekend, holidays (as needed), and short notice shift coverage.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to read a blueprint.
• Knowledge of inventory systems.
• 6 months to 1 year of operating production machinery.

Pay

The starting rate of pay for this position is $21.37 per hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits.
