Responsibilities
- Set up of Production Equipment including blades.
- Data entry in the computer to move product through the system.
- Ensure a high-quality product is coming off the machine by conducting quality checks to ensure required slit positions, depth, dimensions, labeling, and packaging.
- Train and direct temporary employees when needed.
- Work to continuously improve set up time, speed, and waste.
- Follow all safety rules and policies, make suggestions to improve safety and look out for fellow employees' safety.
- Assist other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Some industrial experience.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Available to work either day or night shift.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Pay
Starting salary for position: $21.36 per hour with an increase after successful training. Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
