Fabrication Operator - 2nd Shift
POSITION SUMMARY
2nd shift is 5pm - 3:30 am (4-10 hour shifts) - includes a $2 hr. shift differential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Follows daily schedules and produces required parts.
- Reads drawings and schematics to determine correct specifications of trailer parts.
- Operates machinery including presses, drills, saws, plasma cutters, rail benders, cranes, and various hand tools.
- Lifts and transports trailer rails and parts up to 50 lbs.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Ability to read tape measure
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
