Fabrication - Mill Machinist

BlueLinx is seeking a Fabrication-Mill Machinist to assist in our distribution center. We look for team players who prioritize safety and quality of service. As a leading wholesale distributor of building and industrial products in the United States, our warehouse associates are critical to our success.

Responsibilities

• Operate rip saw, band saw, dario (scroll) saw, and planer, including setup
• Read a tape measure accurately
• Work with wood scrolls and brackets
• Check all outbound orders for accuracy and quality
• Maintain equipment and notify Mill Manager of needed maintenance supplies
• Assist in training others in resaw and planer operations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Prior experience in mill operations required
