Fabrication General Laborer Driver

Location: Nazareth, PA

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles for deliveries and pickups
• Operate saws, cranes, and machines
• Paint and powder coat
• Review and interpret written work instructions
• Accurately read measuring devices
• Effectively prioritize workloads and use available resources within time constraints
• Assist with keeping the shop orderly and clean, following all company safety procedures
• Move steel materials using physical strength, forklifts, slings, and straps
• Responsible for quality control of all jobs and orders
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT certification
• Basic math skills, including converting decimals to fractional equivalents
• Ability to read and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals, and procedure manuals
• Industrial steel coating experience preferred
• Sand‑blasting experience preferred
• Ability to address problems involving variables in standardized situations
• Can lift up to 100 lb; able to bend, kneel, reach, and stand for long periods; fine finger dexterity required
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and other job requirements

Working Conditions

• Frequent exposure to regulated noise, cold conditions, and permissible odors
• Possible extremes in temperature and humidity; exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical shock risk, toxic chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles
• Required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, and use hearing, vision, and speech
• Occasional lifting of moderately heavy objects (up to 100 lb)
• Regular use of personal protective equipment (hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, respirator, gloves, etc.)
• May be required to work overtime as needed
• Drug‑ and alcohol‑free work environment with mandatory pre‑employment and random testing
