Manufacturing General Laborer

About the role

The Manufacturing General Laborer supports daily production operations by performing tasks such as assembly, packaging, and labeling of products. They also assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production line operations
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods
• Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed (training provided)
• Inspect products for quality and report defects or issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Support team members and supervisors with additional tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
• Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• Sheet Metal experience preferred
• Use band saw, wet saw, dry mitre saw preferred
• Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components

Education and Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
