Key Responsibilities
- Operate basic machinery such as spray painting with spry guns, drill presses, band saws, and grinders
- Assemble Hydraulic Hoses
- Assembly Hydraulic Fittings on valves
- Aid fabricators and machinists with general shop tasks
- Load and unload materials using carts, dollies, or forklifts (if certified)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fabrication or machine shop preferred, but not required
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate shop tools
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Environment
- Indoor fabrication shop environment with steel, machinery, and power tools
- Safety gear (PPE) provided and required
