About the role
The role involves providing expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
- Train staff on health and safety best practices
- Oversee emergency response plans and drills
- Manage health and safety audits and inspections
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health and safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Professional certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
- Experience in managing health and safety programs in a commercial setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Skills

Pay
Salary range: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
