About the role

The role involves providing expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
• Train staff on health and safety best practices
• Oversee emergency response plans and drills
• Manage health and safety audits and inspections
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health and safety standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Professional certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
• Experience in managing health and safety programs in a commercial setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay

Salary range: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
