FAA Systems Engineer V

Responsibilities

Provide system engineering support.

Works under the direct supervision of others to perform information systems engineering, functional analysis of ATC/M system requirements, development, production, or test and evaluation of related information systems.

Includes, but not limited to, the expertise required to conduct scans of facilities to evaluate layout, interfaces, system interactions and space constraints.

Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

• Required Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; May accept additional experience in lieu of degree.
• Understanding of the FAA’s automation and traffic management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.
• Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willing to multi-task.
• Detailed-oriented mindset.

Required Clearance

• US Citizenship.
• FAA Suitability/ability to obtain and maintain public trust and customer approval.
