Responsibilities
Teaching in the pre-doctoral program, conducting independent research, and providing service to the University are key responsibilities. Collaboration with other faculty members, both in research and teaching, is encouraged.
Qualifications
- A D.M.D. or D.D.S degree and specialty training in Periodontics from a CODA accredited postgraduate program, or foreign equivalent, in periodontics and American Board of Periodontology eligibility or certification are required.
- Previous teaching experience and/or a record of research accomplishments through publication and external funding are desirable.
- Candidates holding an M.S. degree are preferred.
- Applicants must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Illinois, or be able to meet the requirements for Illinois licensure.
Schedule
Intramural faculty practice is available.
Pay
Assistant Professor/Clinical Assistant Professor: $120,000-$145,000
Associate Professor/Clinical Associate Professor: $130,000-$155,000
Professor/Clinical Professor: $140,000-$165,000
