F&B Restaurant Server (BELL GARDENS, CA. 90201)

About the role

We are seeking a team player for the F&B Restaurant Server position who is ready to go the extra mile on every occasion to delight and astound our guests, and someone who will always look for opportunities to improve our service. Functions as an integral part of the F&B team by providing customer service and ensuring that meals and beverages are served according to the casino's established standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, deliver meals and drinks, and meet the required standards of performance by adhering to policies, procedures, work instructions, training initiatives, codes of conduct, and other directives.
• Maintain positive customer relations at all times. Anticipate customers’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all customers.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the restaurant.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, including prices, preparation methods, ingredients, quality standards, taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish, and presentation.
• Respond quickly to and resolve any complaints to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
• While working on the casino floor, follow all casino guidelines pertaining to security and be sensitive to each customer’s gaming experience.
• Retrieve food orders from the kitchen, promptly clean tables after each customer, and adhere to proper cash and credit card handling policies.
• Empty trash containers, ensure maximum usage and efficiency of all supplies, and follow suggested up-selling techniques.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass mandatory screening, including a background check and drug test.
• Must have a Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification.
• Must possess a California Food Handler Card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in an environment of comparable quality or equivalent.
• Must be available to work all shifts supporting a 24/7 environment, including weekends, evenings, and flexible schedules.

Pay

USD $16.90 per hour.
