Job Responsibilities
- Oversight of a team of employees including hiring, development, scheduling, and training
- Overseeing all Front of House employees, which includes bartenders, servers, and banquet team
- Maintaining high levels of service in all aspects of operations and providing memorable dining experiences
- Handling daily cash deposits and opening/closing the restaurant as necessary
- Assisting the kitchen with prep work or plating, ensuring dishes meet quality and garnishing standards
- Maintaining cleanliness of front of house areas and assigning service-related tasks to servers
- Checking out servers and bartenders at the end of their shift, bussing tables, and assisting with processing dirty dishes
- Ensuring dining tables are properly prepared for service and communicating current menu choices and specials
- Opening and pouring wine at tableside and assisting with special events as needed
- Greeting guests warmly and addressing their service needs
- Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager
- Maintaining a neat and professional appearance and following grooming standards
- Anticipating and addressing guests' service needs
Job Qualifications
- Two years of prior leadership experience in the food and beverage industry preferred
- Knowledge of proper food handling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, and minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance with flexibility to work varied days, AM or PM shifts, and holidays
- Proper food safety training and certification as required by law
- Experience using computers (MS Office/Google), POS systems, and reservations software
