F&B Lead

Job Summary

The F&B Lead is responsible for ensuring guests have a memorable experience in the Food Outlets and Beverage Bars. They supervise team members, ensure proper staffing, enforce cleanliness standards, and ensure safety and security.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Directly supervises team members in food and beverage roles
• Delegates duties and assigns responsibilities to team members
• Ensures the area is staffed properly, assisting as needed
• Maintains cleanliness standards and ensures team members perform duties as instructed
• Ensures safety and security of employees and guests
• Performs responsible alcohol service and trains other team members
• Affords assistance to Food/Beverage Supervisors with daily tasks and shift management
• Serves as a department champion, promoting the department and company services

Required Skills And Abilities

• Knowledge of bar equipment and micros cash registers
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations
• Maintain interpersonal relationships
• Oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high pressure demands
• Available to work a rotating schedule, including weekends, holidays, and nights

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience preferred
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, finger reaching, handling, feeling, using hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
• Frequent talking and hearing
• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs
• Circulating throughout assigned areas, including smoking area

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience preferred. Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
