About the Role
Assists bartender with set-up, stocking, mixing drinks, and general cleaning in a busy casino resort bar environment.
Responsibilities
- Mixes drinks
- Checks and stocks supplies during shift
- Washes and stocks glassware and utensils
- Provides excellent guest service
- Acts as backup bartender as needed
- Performs other duties as required
- Makes decisions regarding intoxicated guests in conjunction with policies
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of Food and Beverage experience
- TIPS training and Health Card
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work in a busy, smoky, noisy, and crowded atmosphere
- Cash transaction experience
- Good problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Job Conditions
- Works in the bar during busy times of the day and night
- Frequent interruptions, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lb. while standing, twisting, or bending
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Manual and finger dexterity for operation of cash register and routine paperwork
