F-35 Logistics & Sustainment, Senior Manager
About the role
Are you a results-oriented leader with a passion for next-generation logistics and sustainment operations in the defense sector? At Booz Allen Hamilton, we’re seeking a Logistics and Sustainment, Senior-level professional who will tackle complex challenges impacting mission readiness by managing execution and driving innovation in logistics and sustainment for the F-35 and next-generation systems.
In this key role, you will manage large-scale program execution and expand business across Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) including areas such as Sustainment Operations, Maintenance Systems, Avionics, Propulsion, Supply Chain, and Depot Integration. You will lead strategies to optimize logistics systems, enhance weapon systems’ supportability and maintainability, and ensure delivery excellence, cost management, and risk mitigation. You will engage with customers at all leadership levels, lead teams, guide delivery of tailored innovative solutions, conduct business development activities, and strengthen Booz Allen’s position in next-generation logistics and sustainment markets.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, logistics, supply chain, and sustainment operations supporting defense programs, including aviation platforms such as the F-35
- 10+ years of experience in Program or Project Management
- 10+ years of experience as an operations officer, maintenance officer, or lifecycle logistics professional
- Experience in identifying, capturing, and expanding new business opportunities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging customers and industry partners at all levels
- Ability to manage delivery, cost, and risk on a large complex technical program
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or Defense Studies
Qualifications
- Experience with cutting-edge logistics, sustainment, or supply chain technologies
- Master's degree in Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Aerospace Engineering
- Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Life Cycle Logistics Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) Certification
Clearance

Pay
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $125,300.00 to $233,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.

Work Model:
- Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
