F-35 - International/FMS Security Specialist
About the role
The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) seeks a multi-disciplined International/FMS Security Specialist to support the F-35 program in Arlington, VA. This is a proposal effort with an anticipated award in late-2026. The role involves providing security guidance and mentorship to F-35 Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) security professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide multi-disciplined security guidance and mentorship to F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals
- Continuous evaluation of F-35 Partner and FMS security posture and provide written updates
- Develop and provide training to F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals to build a comprehensive F-35 security program
- Ensure security policies and procedures comply with SAP, CMI, and CUI requirements
- Support F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals with general, physical, and cybersecurity needs
- Provide security support at air shows, fighter competitions, and other collaborative events
Requirements
- Master’s degree and 10 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of experience within the International security arena
- Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
- Demonstrated knowledge of DoWD 5205.07 Volumes
- Demonstrated knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705
- Knowledge of US International/Foreign Affairs objectives, Arms Export Control Act (AECA), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes
- Secret clearance required

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
