F-35 Acquisition Program Manager

About the role

An effective program requires a manager who is passionate about guiding it through the complexities of its lifecycle. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks, and supporting a team with vision and focus. As a lead program manager on our team, you’ll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding the client through complex challenges.

Your client will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As a leader in the Air Power market, you’ll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client’s mission.

Responsibilities

As a seasoned program manager, you will ensure our acquisition program achieves success. You will broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. This is your chance to impact the client while sharing your knowledge and expertise of program management methodologies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience supporting a program office such as the DoD acquisition program office
• Experience with DoD aviation acquisition or modernization programs
• Knowledge of DoD 5000 series policies, procedures, and processes
• Knowledge of cost, schedule, performance, and risk management
• Knowledge of using Microsoft Office suite
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have

• Experience with DoD 5th Generation fighter aircraft acquisition
• Experience working in a DoD classified program
• Ability to work in a highly demanding and highly visible program
• Ability to communicate to work across multiple teams and with leadership
• TS/SCI clearance

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.

Schedule

Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility. Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
