About the role
We are actively seeking experienced F-16 Avionics Technicians & Crew Chiefs to join a high-performing maintenance team supporting mission-critical aircraft operations at Luke Air Force Base.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily flight line operations and maintenance on F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft
- Serve as Crew Chief responsible for overall aircraft condition, safety, and mission readiness
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft electro-mechanical systems
- Support structural repairs and organizational-level maintenance activities
- Conduct inspections, servicing, and scheduled maintenance tasks
- Execute aircraft launch, recovery, and dispatch readiness functions
- Ensure strict compliance with FOD (Foreign Object Damage) prevention procedures
Requirements
- USAF 5-Level (or equivalent military or civilian experience) with documented experience
- Proven experience as an F-16 Crew Chief and/or F-16 Maintenance Technician
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with aircraft ground handling, servicing, and maintenance operations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High School Diploma or GED required (Associate Degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree is a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work around active aircraft and maintenance equipment
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Domestic and international travel may be required
