F 16 Aircraft Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced F-16 Propulsion Technician / Aircraft Engine Mechanic with hands-on experience maintaining Pratt & Whitney PW F100 engines, ideally F100-220, F100-220E, F100-220EI, or F100-229. This is an excellent opportunity for a USAF Aerospace Propulsion Technician, F-16/F-15 Engine Mechanic, or military aircraft engine maintainer looking to continue working on high-performance fighter aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, repair, modification, and troubleshooting of PW F100 engines
• Support flight line, engine shop, back shop, and heavy engine maintenance
• Perform engine removal and installation, component replacement, inspections, and repairs
• Interpret USAF Technical Orders, manufacturer manuals, and technical documentation
• Complete engine maintenance records, historical forms, and work packages
• Troubleshoot propulsion system issues and support aircraft airworthiness and readiness

Requirements

• 5+ years of aircraft engine or aerospace propulsion maintenance experience
• Experience with PW F100 or related F100 engine platforms
• Military aircraft engine maintenance experience
• Ability to interpret USAF Technical Orders
• USAF 5-Level, Craftsman, or 2A6X1 Aerospace Propulsion experience preferred
• F-16 or F-15 experience highly preferred
• Experience with engine removal and installation, borescope inspections, TCTOs, or engine build-up preferred
• FAA A&P certification preferred
• High school diploma or GED

Pay

$32–$48/hour + overtime
