F-16 Avionics Technician
Assemble or fabricate electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment, including the operations of mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Collaborate with a team under general supervision and provide guidance for less experienced team members.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance tasks as an avionics specialist on F-16 aircraft
- Apply knowledge of F-16 Avionics
- Perform on-aircraft physical tasks associated with F-16 aircraft maintenance, including repetitive movements, standing, working overhead, and using hands to grasp and feel
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience performing aircraft maintenance tasks as an avionics specialist on F-16 aircraft
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduate of a Military Avionics Technical School
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing aircraft maintenance tasks as an avionics specialist on F-35 aircraft
- Knowledge of F-35 Avionics
- Active Secret clearance
- Associate's degree

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.

Work Model
- Remote: Generally expected to have cameras on during virtual meetings. May occasionally be required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
- Hybrid: Expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and role needs. May also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
- Onsite: Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
