Key Responsibilities
As a Director with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Deal Technology practice, you will be a vital member of the team managing and executing IT focused projects across sectors. You’ll work day to day with investment teams, operating partners, and C-Suite executives at middle market Portfolio companies. You will be developing and executing strategies for transactions. Part of your role will also involve developing experience in different types of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g., operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g., integration planning, value creation).
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage senior client relationships and influence client perspectives.
- Solve problems from beginning to end (problem identification, hypothesis development, synthesis, and recommendation with a compelling narrative).
- Understand and translate client needs into approach and outcomes for project delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams comprising colleagues from across the EY-Parthenon sub-service lines.
- Drive value to our clients through a business and commercially driven approach.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information and Operations Management, or Analytics and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
- MBA is preferred.
- Significant management consulting experience.
- Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Interest in understanding of how Private Equity dynamics work, navigating stakeholders across investment teams, operating partners/advisors, and leaders at the Portfolio Companies.
- Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
- The ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
- Expertise in a minimum of 4 of the following IT skillsets:

- Experience with and demonstrated success in at least one key business process such as procurement to pay, record to report, order to cash, plan to make, hire to retire.
- Certifications in Agile, ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, CISSP or CISA highly desired.
Prior Experience
- A proven record of excellence in an IT transactions role.
- Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
- Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
- Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
